Good deeds today must not be done quietly or in prayer for all who do them!
(Lina Meilutė-Datkūnienė, Laura Viduolytė-Pupelienė ir Justina Daščioraitė)
One in the field is not a soldier, so this action is a joint project of all those who organized, supported, helped and carried out, which really contributed to the change in people's faces, hearts and, of course, in the refrigerators and on the festive table.
We were all excited about launching a campaign to support harder people, in fact, before launching the report. And it all started with one call - listen, maybe we do? The answer on the speaker - and I’m thinking about it, let’s call in a couple of hours. And we all understood what we had to do. Since we have been communicating for many years and we are usually full of ideas, the other parties are used to it, whether they want it or not, to get involved in activities. Because extra hands and their help, which is usually called logistics, will always come in handy. That's how we became six. Later joined Egle. The next day we all already had photos for the layout and we were able to start on Friday night.
We did not even doubt that such support was needed. Now we know it really is. Let's face it, we didn't expect so many Rokiškis food industry companies, farmers and other people who offered help to contribute to the campaign. Preparations took place for almost a whole week - it was necessary to find out the need, find companies that could and would like to contribute, plan everything - from picking up the goods, packing them to transportation. And this mission is not easy either - navigation does not always save Lithuanian villages. I had to drive through the meadows and use the locals to help find people living away more easily. But most importantly - we were a real Easter surprise!
And indeed, good deeds do good. It’s good to be surprised and to hear the question “Are you serious here? Aren't you kidding? ” People were genuinely amazed and only then did we receive calls with thanks, letters, messages. However, it is most gratifying that we live in an area where there are socially responsible companies and indifferent residents, farmers. I would like to remind everyone that we can take initiatives, each one and not so big, and it is very easy to implement, and not only before the holidays or during the quarantine period. Because there are really a lot of people, grandparents, people with disabilities living next to us. All we have to do is come up with a task and implement it.
This campaign made us realize what we really have and sometimes forget to appreciate. Because it seems like a matter of course, it’s natural to brush your teeth when you get up in the morning. But you never know what kind of joke life will fall on and which side you may find yourself on. So, if you can, help. Because those eyes full of gratitude will still be remembered for a long time. And there will be no unfortunate time at all when you come home after dark, but you are extremely happy and your heart is happy. The words 'we will definitely pray for you' are enough for us. May it be a prayer for all who do good works.

We are glad that Rokiškis district municipality, Health and Social Support Department supported the idea and cooperated in its implementation. Formed kits from a variety of foods reached the doors of about 200 people in the district, behind whom families live. We planned to visit only about 100 households, but after receiving so many support kits, we increased the number. We visited all 10 district elderships, drove more than 900 km and distributed about 3 tons of food.
We thank Egle Gnižinskaitė, Jūratė Puslienė, Algirdas Kulis, Regina Geviškienė, Diana Gudeikienė, Justina Šarkauskaitė, Valdas Adomonis, Augutis Tymukas, Vita Mačiulienė, Kęstučius Puriuškis for their help.
