March 7 the first family of Ukrainians withdrawing from the war was welcomed in Kriaunos. The chairman of the Kriaunos community, Eugenijus Driskius, and his brother, photographer Klaudijus Driskius, opened the doors of their motherlands for mother and two children. 

Brothers Driskiai, brought by Ukrainian familie, drove to Warsaw. It is no coincidence that the threads of thei relatives in the encestral generation are in Baršėnai. Therefore, the family can be said to have returned to the land of the great-grandparents.
