The abandoned building has become a history gallery.
The community of Pandėlys city awakens historical knowledge - the surviving walls of the former manor farm building, after the ingenuity and work, have become an exposition of the historical noble families who ruled the Pandėlys region.
In Pandėlys Park, the wall of the outbuilding was covered with tin to prevent it from breaking and in the interior of the building, awnings with noble tribal arms and historical information of their reign. Giedrius Kujelis, a specialist of the Rokiškis area museum, contributed to the historical fulfillment of the idea.
The enthusiast of the idea, Valdas Pipikas, an active member of the community, did not hide the joy that his initiative to turn the remains of the former manor house into an open cultural space attracted a lot of attention from the Pandėlys people. Almost 60-70 Pandėlys people of all ages gathered in the open gallery without any special invitations or exhortations. The mayor of the district Ramūnas Godeliauskas, member of the Seimas Raimundas Martinėlis, director of the municipal administration Andrius Burnickas, representatives of various non-governmental organizations - Raimonda Stankevičiūtė-Vilimienė, Leonardas Šablinskas, Raimondas Sirgėdas, arrived to say hello Pandėlys people with a simple but very suggestive initiative.
While congratulating the community on the beautifully executed ideas that give the land its cultural territory, mayor R.Godeliauskas confirmed that the Pandėlys are a good exception, who ask for less help from the municipality than they do for the municipality itself. The Pandėlys pastor Albertas Kasperavičius also warmly welcomed the initiatives of the Pandėlys people.
