The community has equipped the premises of the former store to develop the idea of ​​its social business project. It is part of a project called Strawberry Code, which is funded by the Rokiškis District Local Action Group Strategy.

There was a huge crowd of greeters - the new community hall barely accommodated relatives and guests. Danutė Vaičiulienė, the chairman of the community and the inspiration for the project, was very excited about this. Together with the young people of Gediškė, she prepared a program for this occasion, in which one hit sounded, properly paraphrased and possible to become the anthem of the community - because it repeats the text that children grow best in strawberries.

Social business projects in Kaireliai and Kriaunos communities in Rokiškis district are the first. Like all pioneers, there are many challenges, but the challenge of this community has been gracefully accepted.

Through the project "Development of Social Business in Kaireliai Rural Community", the Kaireliai community planted strawberries, purchased equipment for processing the plot, repaired its building and undertook to maintain 1.75 employees for at least three years from active economic activity. The end of the project is only one stage, now the second effort will be needed to do business, and as promised, to create opportunities for Gediškiai residents to have a job near home.
