Dialogue with politicians on the cultivation of social organizations

As every year, this time the LAG perticipated in the Lithuanian Sociual Business Forum. The Forum was welcomed by the speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Nicolas SCHMIT, member of the European Commision, ministers, representatives of the Seimas Economic and European Affairs Committees, other responsible officials forming policy.
There are 2.8 milion social organizations in Europe and, as a 2021, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, social economy sector organizations demonstrate a remarkable ability to contribute to building the resilience of communities and the ability to manage fundamental change. This sector outperformed other industral sectors and accounted for up to 12% jobs while addressing key societal challenges.
This year's Social Business Forum invited the leaders of the social business ecosystem to develop a dialogue with politicians about the importance of the sector to the Lithuania economy.
